Nutriroot, a Medical Nutrition Company, where we believe that health is more than the absence of illness—it is wholeness of body, mind, and spirit. Rooted in faith, science, and authenticity, Nutriroot exists to restore true wellness by guiding individuals and families back to the source of lasting health: their roots.
Our name reflects our belief that strength, identity, and nourishment begin from the ground up. Just as roots anchor and sustain life, so too does nutrition—fuelling not only the body, but also the mind and spirit.

Nutriroot is led by Thereso G. Mathe, Qualified Dietitian with BSc Dietetics (Hons) SMU, registered with the HEALTH PROFESSIONS COUNCIL OF SOUTH AFRICA (HPCSA) AS AN INDEPENDENT PRACTITIONER.
Her experience spans community nutrition and health advocacy, clinical dietetics (ICU, surgical, and internal medicine), mental health nutrition, infant and child nutrition, and medical food services.
She is also an active member of:
- Association for Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA)
- Nutrition Society of South Africa (NSSA)
- Diabetes Education Society of South Africa (DESSA)
- Micronutrient Forum (Global advocacy movement against malnutrition)
With this combination of clinical expertise, community advocacy, and holistic vision, Nutriroot is built on both professional integrity and a passion for restoring health at every level.
